A day at the zoo

Note: I admit that my posts were a bit outdated. But at least I updated. (Hey, it rhymes!)

On the way to the zoo, we brought hard-boiled eggs from the vendors, plus a big candyfloss.

Actually, the admission fees were quite cheap. $5 (Sin money of course) for 4 people. I shall not bore you with the typical descriptions of the zoo. Smells, sounds, and sights, you know very well what they are.

There were repeated announcements about some wild monkeys in the park, telling us not to feed or tease them.

At the aviary, we saw monkeys roaming around freely. Not birds. The peacocks, pigeons and swans were cowering in a corner, while the monkeys helped themselves to their food. Well, if that was not enough, the monkeys could always eat pigeons.

After that we visited the gorilla. It was sticking its hand out of its enclosure to beg for food. A pane of reinforced glass surrounding it had spiderweb-like cracks spreaded across it. Probably the result of a particular nasty tantrum. We wondered how much longer it will hold, and decided to leave before that.

We also visited the lions. There, my brother(Howard) worked out how to climb into the enclosure. Sadly he did not try it out.

It was a fun day at the zoo
